Kettle River Woodcraft builds furniture
from reclaimed barn wood. The wood is native to BC and in
some cases 90 years old! Most commonly larch or fir, pieces are
also built with maple, oak, birch and other BC woods. Due to
age and the natural weathering over time, each piece of furniture is
unique and although an item can be reproduced it will never be
identical. Each piece is built to last, telling a story through
the grains of wood and meant to be handed down through generations. KRW is very proud of their heritage of reclaiming, reusing and recycling
local woods to help support a sustainable future. KRW can also build
with new wood.
Kettle River Woodcraft offers
dining, bedroom, living and office furniture. Armoires, corner
shelving, rocking chairs, file cabinets, picture frames, treasure boxes,
children's beds and more are available. You can also work with KRW
to build a piece specific to your needs.
Kettle River Woodcraft designs and
carefully handcrafts each piece of their furniture. All components
and stages of the piece are completed by members of the team and is done
